Milan’s public transport is managed by ATM (Azienda Trasporti Milanese). The coverage of Milan is guaranteed by a surface network (bus, tram, trolleybus) and three underground lines.
The “Stazione di Milano Centrale” is the main railway station of the city, destination of trains coming both from the rest of the nation and others countries. However there are also several stations throughout the city, like those of “Milano Garibaldi” and “Milano Cadorna”, which represent the fundamental branch lines for regional transportation.
The airports of “Milano Malpensa” and “Milano Linate”, and the “International Airport of Orio al Serio” (BG), give Milan an adequate air links both nationally and internationally.
All airports are easily accessible from the city by train or shuttle service.
