ELLCI offers a Summer Study Holiday – an efficient full immersion in the Italian culture with 20 hours of lessons per week + 15 hours of excursions per week, an enrollment fee, a textbook and a diploma. Our offer includes the lodging in single or shared room and daily lunch. ELLCI enriches its cultural activities program in July & August for its Standard courses. Beside the weekly guided tours in Milan, that illustrate the evolution of art, fashion and Italian culture, the school will organise weekly excursions outside Milan! 2 excursions a week! One in Milan and another one outside Milan! Where would we go?
SUMMER COURSES FOR SENIORS
ELLCI offers summer courses for seniors to emerge into Italian culture and discover Milan with 15 hours of lessons per week + 15 hours of extra activities per week. Milan_Milan is a very lively city from the cultural point of view and offers many opportunities to attend theatrical and musical performances and interact with the world of fashion and design.
Bergamo_The town has two centres: Città alta (upper city), a hilltop medieval town and the Città bassa (lower city). The upper city, surrounded by Venetian defensive walls built in the 16th century, forms the historic centre of Bergamo and has numerous places of interest.
Como_Como lake is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful lakes in Europe and is a very popular tourist attraction with many artistic and cultural gems. Como is popular for its landscapes, wildlife, and spas, its beautiful villas and palaces.
Vigevano_Vigevano is famous for its beautiful and one of the finest Renaissance squares in Italy – Piazza Ducale in the centre of the town. The Sforza Castle and the Cathedral surround the main town square.
Monza_The Royal Villa is a historical building in Monza. The Villa is surrounded by the Monza Park and the gardens, that are among the largest in Europe. Monza is also well known for its Grand Prix motor racing circuit, which hosts the Formula One Italian Grand Prix.
Certosa di Pavia_The Certosa di Pavia, built in 1396-1495, is one of the largest monasteries in Italy. It hosts a collection of artworks, which are particularly representative of the region. …and many other places!
